Dandruff Treatment

Traditional remedies of dandruff include selenium sulfide, sulfur and salicylic acid, zinc pyrithione, or tar shampoos. If the problem is severe then hydrocortisone cream works the best.
Diet – Never intake fried food supplements. Also lessen the use of dairy products, fats, seafood, sugar, peanuts and chocolate. Instead, consume plenty of green leafy vegetables and unprocessed foods.

Natural Dandruff Remedies

Grapefruit seed extract: Add a little amount of grapefruit seed extract in the shampoo and wash your hair with it.
Tea tree oil: Pour few tea tree oil drops in the shampoo; stir the both well and use for washing hair.
Apple cider vinegar: Apply on the entire hair as well as the scalp and wrap a soft and clean towel on the head. Leave it as it is for 60 minutes and then rinse.
Selenium-based shampoo: Use a shampoo having selenium; it can relieve the problem due to its anti-fungal properties.
